Branding. Photography. Web Design. Graphic Design. Signage.
When we met Stephanie for the first time, it was clear that she had a big dream for Layered Home, a bespoke homewares store in The Junction. Steph had the seed of an idea and the clarity of her vision and plan immediately struck us.
The ethos of Layered Home is about creating effortless style with quality homewares that stand the test of time. We quickly became excited about making her dream a reality.
What we did
In creating new branding and a logo for Layered Home, we had to strike a balance that was high-end but also had warmth. Interior designers have a great eye for colour palettes and Steph is no exception. The clean, simple lines of the logo gave Steph the flexibility to pair swing tags with any item, in any colour or fabric design in the shop.
Our hand-drawn furniture illustrations on store signage and across the website add an extra layer of humanity and authenticity to a custom furniture business.
Steph wanted a website that gave people a taste of the textures, richness and depth of Layered Home, a website that extended an invitation to people to come and visit. Layered Home’s visual identity, signage, branding, photography and website serve as a reflection of the heart and soul of a local business that’s grounded in design, beauty and laid back style.
Finally, photographing a store that looks as good as Layered Home is a dream come true, and Jacob captured a suite of gorgeous images for use across the website and social media.
“The Marketing Side is a brilliant business name because it really does feel like that whole marketing side of your business is in safe hands. These guys designed my logo, my business cards, all my signage, they did a photoshoot of my store (the results of which were beautiful), they designed and built my website and gave me practical advice on marketing and social media strategies. I felt like we were on the same page from the outset, which made the process efficient and easy. My business now has the luxe, high-end feel I was after.”
