Branding. Photography. Web Design.
The Glimpse Project is a Newcastle-based startup, delivering travel packages for schools, teams and organisations. Every trip is designed to engage, challenge, extend, equip and explore by allowing people to experience life within a developing world and give back in practical ways.
Working with creative people is always fun. They bring colour, joy, ideas and a new perspective to the table. This is even more true when of of those clients is your little sister.
Cait is an art teacher and she has a beautiful feel for balance and design. She had a really clear idea of the way she wanted The Glimpse Project to look like and the feelings it needed to convey. Her Pinterest board was a work of art!
What we did
Like many start-ups, The Glimpse Project needed all the basics: Branding, photography and a website.
We developed a logo in conjunction with The Glimpse Project team, with the hand-drawn element adding just the right amount of not-quite-perfect to a cohesive visual identity. Bright colours and abstract shapes created a unique brand that spoke to their young target market.
Our photoshoot took us to Newcastle’s No.1 Sportsground with a HUGE hand-painted “The Glimpse Project” sign. Models on the day were actual The Glimpse Project young leaders, and it was a total blast getting to meet the entire Glimpse team.
The Glimpse Project web site was built to educate potential clients on the Glimpse business model and provide information on upcoming trips. While COVID-19 has grounded The Glimpse Project in Australia, we hope there’s a bright future ahead!
“The Marketing Side were exceptional to work with. Jodie and her creative team went above and beyond to help us each step of our start-up journey. They brought our ideas to life, from creating a visual identity, logo and brand, through to professional photos, digital presence, as well as our website (which we absolutely love!). Our company found The Marketing Side team to be approachable, professional, creative and efficient. To any small business looking for a kick-start or a revamp, look no further, call The Marketing Side. I wouldn’t go with anyone else!”
